The FG170 grinding and polishing machine for square tubes and flat profiles is distinguished by its robust design, ensuring reliability under intensive working conditions.

This machine processes workpieces up to 170 mm in width through the possible combination of multiple abrasive belt heads with brushing units.

The FG170 Z is equipped with one abrasive belt head (Z).

The FG170 ZK combines an abrasive belt head (Z) with a brushing unit (K).

Possible configurations include:
FG170 2Z = 2 abrasive belt heads, or
FG170 2ZK = 2 abrasive belt heads + 1 brushing head. Additional configurations are available upon customer request.

Abrasive Belt Head:
Performs surface finishing during grinding of square tubes and flat profile components – removes coarse imperfections and burrs.

Brushing Unit:
Provides final finishing after grinding – delivers a smooth and uniform surface finish.

The FG170 delivers consistently high-quality results in the processing of stainless steel square tubes and flat profiles – tube by tube.

Abrasive Belt Change:
Abrasive belts can be swapped in seconds without the need for tools.

Fixed Working Height:
FG machines feature a fixed working height. Adjustments for different material thicknesses are made via the vertical feed of the processing stations, without the need to alter the roller table at the infeed.
