STANDARD CONDITIONS
The plant is designed for the production of 160 t/h road mix with a finished product at an initial moisture content of 4% and 160°C under the following standard conditions:
• Aggregate temperature at the dryer inlet: 10°C
• Sea level elevation
• Average bulk density of feed aggregates: 1,650 kg/m³
• Heavy oil No. 6 calorific value ≥ 9,200 kCal/kg
• Heavy oil No. 4 calorific value ≥ 9,700 kCal/kg
• Calorific value for diesel oil ≥ 10,200 kCal/kg
• Natural gas calorific value ≥ 7,600 kCal/kg
• Temperature increase of hot aggregates: 160 K
• Residual moisture content of the mix: 0.3%
• Maximum aggregate size: 40 mm
• Material passing 3 mm sieve: 35%
• Material non-porous and non-hygroscopic of standard shape
• Production tolerance rate according to ambient and parameter conditions: ±4%
COLD AGGREGATE BINS
• There must be 4 cold aggregate bins made from 5 mm St 37 steel plate, each approximately 20 m³ in size and individually constructed.
• Each bin must be fitted with 800 mm high upper extensions made of 6 mm plate to prevent material overflow.
• Bin material discharge must be performed by a movable group.
• Each bin's discharge flow rate must be frequency controlled (speed controlled) upon request and adjustable via the computer interface.
• The number of bins and the discharge flow of each must be adjustable from a manual gate installed on each bin.
• A warning system must be in place if aggregate flow stops from the bins, and an alert must appear on the computer interface to inform the operator.
• A vibration motor, controlled from the computer interface, must be installed to facilitate material flow and prevent clogging with fine materials in the bins.
• A conveyor belt system must be installed beneath each bin to ensure material flow.
• Each bin must be equipped with modular grates made of 10x50 mm plates with a 10 mm diameter.
• Silo loading width must be 3000x2400 mm.
• An emergency stop rope system must be installed for emergencies.
• Possible belt faults must be displayed on the computer interface.
2. SUB-BUNKER COLD AGGREGATE COLLECTOR BELT
• The horizontal belt must separately and controllably transfer the material taken from each bin to the inclined dryer belt, and be capable of feeding a plant with a capacity of 160 t/h.
• The rubber belt must be 10 mm thick, 800 mm wide, 4-ply with EP 125 quality.
• Belt start/stop operation must be controlled from the computer interface. To unload bin materials at the end of the season, the belt can be reversed independently from the other units.
• The horizontal belt frame must be constructed of structural steel to enable smooth operation and incorporate a belt tensioning system.
• The belt must be equipped with a separation system at each end.
• The drive drum must be rubber-coated and have an angle of 1 degree.
