RANDEK AB JS400C

The Randek JS400C Notching Saw is designed for producing notches at the ends of timber components, for example, to enable the insertion of a tie beam into vertically positioned studs.

The machine pneumatically clamps the timber and executes two cuts using its two 400 mm diameter saw blades. The maximum notch length is 380 mm, and cutting depth can be set up to a maximum of 115 mm. The saw is operated quickly and easily via a foot pedal.

Function Description
The timber to be notched, e.g. a stud, is pushed into the covered saw slot up to the pre-set stop. The protruding end is supported on a roller stand (not included). Pneumatic clamping of the inserted timber and initiation of the sawing process are both triggered by the foot pedal.

Safety
The saw is securely enclosed with a protective cover. When the cover is opened, the power supply is automatically interrupted, minimizing injury risk.
