Equipment / Special Features

A modern CNC control system allows for input of all relevant gear data and workpiece setup in dialog mode with the control unit. Programming language switchable (German/English) and DNC interface for data import/export.

The machine operates in continuous generating grinding mode with automatic grinding cycle and automatic profiling of the grinding wheel on the machine.

Includes an integrated device for automatic threading of the grinding wheel into the tooth gap, resulting in significant time savings; hydraulically swiveling.

Approximately 10 years ago, the profiling axis (V-axis) was retrofitted electronically by the company BURRI, providing higher accuracy, easier profile correction, faster dressing. Currently, a REISHAUER dressing unit Type SP-DR with a profile diamond wheel is installed.

The workpiece swivel angle (A-axis) is also moved electronically—quickly and precisely—and hydraulically clamped, resulting in faster setup times and easier part loading.

The shift grinding device ensures that, during grinding, the workpiece is guided tangentially past the grinding wheel, so that a consistently uniform grinding wheel profile is always in engagement.
