SIEMENS CNC path control system Type 810 G allows input of all relevant gear data and setup of the workpiece via interactive dialog with the control system. With DNC interface RS 232 for data input and output.
A-axis = Swivel / Z-axis = Table movement / X-axis = Honing tool feed, S-axis = Honing wheel speed, U-axis = Crowning adjustment.
Fitted with automatic device for inserting the honing wheel into the gear gap.
The tool swivel angle (A-axis) is also electronically operated, fast and precise, and hydraulically clamped, which means faster set-up times.
Hydraulic workpiece clamping via foot switch between spindle headstock and tailstock; both units are traversable on the workpiece table depending on the workpiece.
Full work area enclosure with sliding doors and safety interlock.
