Principle: The wastewater is fed into the inlet of the inclined clarifier and flows downward inside the unit. Due to the arrangement of the lamella plates inside the clarifier, the wastewater is redirected beneath the lamellae and flows upward through them. This causes the solids to settle onto the lamellae. The purified water is conveyed to the outlet. Solids on the lamellae gradually slide down along the plates, collecting in the sludge hopper.

Rake Mechanism: Optionally, we offer the inclined clarifier with a rake mechanism that keeps the sludge in a flowable state.

Application: Separation of solids from liquids by sedimentation. Inclined clarifiers are often used as a preliminary stage before filter presses or decanters for thickening. By pre-thickening a dilute sludge, the required filter area of the filter press can be reduced.

The unit is in good condition and is available for rental or purchase. On-site inspection at our facility is possible by arrangement. We can also supply new inclined clarifiers with a delivery time of approximately 8 to 10 weeks!
