Popis
The BF-Comet is equipped with Saki's unique line scan camera imaging concept and vector analysis, making it suitable for all types of inspections (SMD, THT), both before and after soldering.
Due to the extremely short cycle times, operators almost never need to wait. This makes Saki's technology exceptionally well-suited for benchtop operation. The highly precise line scan camera forms the core of the Saki imaging system.
During image acquisition, the PCB is transported along one axis underneath the stationary optical system. The line scan camera captures images line by line, with each line being recorded four times, each with a different lighting source in alternation.
Iodpfswbgwrox Aguetn
Within a few seconds, the complete image of the PCB is available for inspection and programming.
Variable and constant illumination methods are essential for reliable image analysis. The Saki system incorporates three central, adjustable lighting units: coaxial (top), side, and low-angle light sources.
With the line scan imaging concept, every component, regardless of its location on the PCB, is always at the same distance and angle to the respective lighting. This results in evenly illuminated images for analysis.
The so-called Top-Light unit is a 100% coaxial light source, introduced into the vertical camera view by means of a half-mirror.
This achieves a shadow-free image for 2D inspection. This is particularly important for reliable solder joint inspection and inspections between tall components.
MLT illumination serves to provide clear, color-differentiated representation between tinned/soldered and non-tinned surfaces.
Areas without tin or with poor wetting are displayed in red hues and can thus be reliably detected using color recognition algorithms.
Foreign objects, such as misplaced components, solder balls, scratches, damage, etc., can be detected with minimal additional programming effort using Saki’s ECD function.
Since the image of the entire PCB is already available, this function only requires a few additional seconds of inspection (processing) time.
Foreign Object Inspection
- Automatic library generation.
Saki’s KPK function automatically creates a library for unrecognized or new components, tailored with presence verification for the assembled parts.
- Automatic X/Y coordinate generation for THT solder joints.
If layout data (CAD) for THT solder joints are missing, this function automatically generates them using an unsoldered and a soldered PCB.
- Programming wizard
For the entire programming process—from importing CAD data, aligning data, to assigning libraries—the software offers a wizard to guide the programmer.
