MACHINE STRUCTURE
The base structure is a monolithic construction made of thick-walled steel. It is reinforced over the entire machine bed with welded-in components, making it extremely rigid. The table design used, with a large base, is the key to ensuring long-term precision and stability. The machine layout allows the user an optimal workflow with minimal space requirements. The mobile gantry is constructed as a solid monoblock. It is positioned in the X-direction on prismatic, ground rails via recirculating ball-bearing carriages. On this mobile unit carrier, the working unit is again mounted on prismatic, ground guides and ball-bearing carriages.
AXIS MOVEMENT
All axis displacement is carried out on prism linear guides with large cross-sections and recirculating ball carriages with a large contact surface, guaranteeing optimal movement even at the highest speeds and accelerations. The precise and fast positioning of the movable gantry (X-axis) is achieved via a helical pinion and rack system. Recirculating ball screws with a large cross-section ensure accurate positioning of the working unit along the moving gantry (Y- and Z-axes). The perfect mechanical dynamics and maximum positioning accuracy are controlled by high-quality drives and brushless motors.
Max. axis speeds:
· X-axis = 90 m/min
· Y-axis = 90 m/min
· Z-axis = 30 m/min
Safety device with bumpers and light barrier 1
Bumpers with sensors are installed around the movable gantry, and a light barrier system is installed in front of the machine. If the operator enters the active zone, the axis speed of the X-axis is reduced to a lower value of 25 m/min without stopping the machine. The system allows workpieces to be loaded during pendulum operation without the disadvantageous access restrictions found in pressure mat systems. This prevents unwanted interruptions to the machining cycle and allows greater freedom of movement around the work table.

Lubrication of the X, Y, and Z axes is regulated via the CNC controller at regular intervals without manual intervention on the machine.
Central extraction nozzle 1
All individual extraction nozzles of the machining units are combined into one central nozzle. Within the nozzle, various slide valves are controlled via the NC controller. This reduces the required extraction airflow.
