SGA Conveyor System

Now we can offer a top-of-the-line sorting facility from SGA Conveyor. The system has only been used as a demo unit, so it has never been in active operation(!). With this pusher sorter, you benefit from a highly efficient solution ideally suited for distribution or e-commerce, with the capacity to handle up to an impressive 4,000 parcels per hour. This facility is engineered for businesses requiring extremely fast and reliable sorting with many sorting options. The system supports 64 different sorting directions, providing great flexibility and allowing easy integration into various sorting workflows. See the layout/drawing under 'Downloadable documents.'

The facility is compatible with a wide range of parcel sizes and types, from small bags to larger cartons. Minimum parcel dimensions are 150x150x20 mm, while maximum sizes can be up to 600x500x500 mm. The system accommodates parcels weighing up to 25 kg, making it suitable for a broad spectrum of products.

The sorting facility is equipped with a state-of-the-art Datalogic camera that reads both barcodes and QR codes for accurate parcel identification. It also includes a Datalogic volume measurement system that measures length, width, and height, ensuring correct sorting based on these dimensions.

The sorting conveyors are 4,000 mm long with a width of 900 mm, offering ample space for the offloading of sorted parcels. The total length of the installation is approximately 80 meters, but it can be installed in several stages, meaning it can be adapted to existing premises or to an expanding operation.

The facility is CE marked, but additional safety mesh is recommended if the system is not placed against a wall to prevent operators from coming into contact with the pushers. Installation typically takes about 3 weeks, and SGA's service technicians will work closely with you to ensure a smooth setup.

The sorting system can be easily integrated with a higher-level control system. Additionally, sorting logic can be managed directly in the control cabinet/HMI.

The system is delivered with an Atlas Copco screw compressor, recognized for its quiet operation and efficiency.
