The main spindle on the left side, followed by a BOZA, table assembly driven by ball screw, BOZA with increased center height, and at the end a B 16 series headstock with drive motor approx. 7.5 kW, n = 900/2400 and 2400/6000 rpm, very large and complex coolant system with filtration, extensive accessories and drilling tools up to 100 mm Ø.
- Suitable for rotating workpiece/fixed cutting tool/ELB and BTA methods as well as fixed workpiece and rotating cutting tool. Can be operated with internal oil supply (ELB) as well as with external oil supply (BTA).
- Complete coolant oil system with tank and filter, 2 high-pressure pumps by SIG, adjustable flow rate per min. = 17/40/120 or 220/500 L/min. Capacity approx. 2,500 L
- Feed of the main slide via ball screw and stepless DC motor, currently with a cross-adjustable table approx. 500 mm, table size approx. 800 x 800 mm for clamping cubic and cylindrical workpieces. Electrically controlled via a cam track approx. 2,500 mm and limit switches for rapid traverse, feed, and return.
