For sale is a used temperature calibrator manufactured by Sika in Kaufungen, Germany (Made in Germany).
This device was only used in our calibration laboratory as a microbath/oil bath and is no longer required.
No additional accessories are included; however, these are available from the manufacturer. (Other measuring equipment visible in the photos is not part of this offer.)

Microbath function
When temperature sensors with unusual shapes and dimensions need to be checked, the use of calibration liquids offers advantages. The test specimen is placed directly into the liquid without any insulating air gaps, ensuring direct thermal contact between the calibrator and the specimen. The liquid, e.g., silicone oil, is selected according to the required calibration temperature. The continuously variable magnetic stirrer, together with the removable sensor basket, ensures thorough mixing of the calibration liquid and creates a large measurement zone. Additionally, the sensor basket enables undisturbed stirring and protects the bottom of the tank.

Dry block function
The dry block function was developed to enable simple temperature calibration in both laboratory and field operations. Optimal thermal coupling between the block and the test specimen is achieved using the correct adapter sleeve. Ideally, the hole in the sleeve should have an inner diameter 0.5 mm larger than the outer diameter of the test specimen. Using the adapter sleeve, almost all straight temperature sensors of various lengths and diameters can be calibrated. The dry block covers the entire temperature range without changing the calibrating medium. The user does not need to consider viscosities, flashpoints, or degassing.
Blackbody radiator function
For calibrating IR pyrometers or thermal imaging cameras, a patented infrared calibration sleeve is used. The special surface structure and asymmetrical shapes create a "black cavity radiator" with an emissivity factor of 0.9994, preventing stray reflections and ideally emitting the required temperature. The pyrometer is simply held at the prescribed distance above the measuring port, thus forming the desired measurement spot for calibration at the base. Direct mounting of a tripod is possible.
Surface temperature function
Surface temperature sensors are calibrated using special sleeves that are applied vertically with the required contact pressure. The best possible temperature reference point on the sleeve’s surface is achieved by switching the calibrator control to the external reference probe.
