Industrial Water Treatment System – SIMPEC RO Double Pass 8000 44 8

The system is a fully automated, two-stage reverse osmosis unit designed for industrial applications requiring high-purity water. It is purpose-built for process water recycling, landfill leachate treatment, biogas and agricultural operations, as well as the food and chemical industries.

The system is pre-assembled on a stainless steel skid and incorporates all key components for water treatment, including chemical dosing, filtration, high-pressure pumps, and automation.

Process Description

Feed & Pre-Filtration
Raw water is delivered via a stainless steel pump to a multimedia filter (MMF) for removal of suspended solids, followed by fine filtration with cartridge filters.

First RO Stage (High Pressure)
The pre-treated water is supplied by a 44 kW high-pressure pump to six RO pressure vessels holding a total of 36 membranes.
Result: Permeate with conductivity < 1000 µS/cm.

Second RO Stage (Polishing)
Permeate from stage 1 undergoes further treatment in two RO vessels with 8 membranes.
Result: Ultra-pure water with conductivity < 100 µS/cm.

Chemical Dosing
Three metering pumps regulate:
- Antiscalant / acid on the feed side
- NaOH for concentrate pH correction

Automated Control
All operating parameters (pressure, conductivity, flow, pH, temperature) are measured via sensors and visualized on the Siemens HMI.
Fully automatic operation with start/stop cycles and alarm management.
