With the SM1 series, also marketed as the AMPAG Sprint, the German manufacturer Schwede Maschinenbau GmbH has created a true long-running bestseller, still in use thousands of times today. Whether in print shops, lettershops, or in warehousing and logistics: this all-rounder enjoys great popularity in various industries due to its low-wear and low-maintenance technology. Our model is also equipped with a second foot switch on the rear side as well as a tabletop sensor for automatic strapping cycle initiation. The unit from 2009 has already been fitted by SMB with the new, intuitive control panel, which can still be found in current models. With its four smooth-running heavy-duty castors and 1-phase 230V power connection, this very compact machine can be easily moved and deployed anywhere in your facility.

Fast operation thanks to compact design
The compact strap frame covers a wide range of possible applications. Parcel sizes up to approx. 450 mm x 500 mm can be strapped using either 5 mm or 9 mm wide strap. Due to this design, the machine is particularly fast, as the strapping band only needs to travel a short distance through the frame. Strapping cycles can be performed in rapid succession without any problems.
