The MSP 120 ZK is optimally suited for the shredding and subsequent briquetting of various types of metal chips.

The MSP 120 ZK briquetting press with integrated shredder consists of a hydraulic chip briquetting press and an upstream shredder, perfectly matched to each other. This system enables efficient size reduction and compaction of chips produced in turning and milling operations. It significantly reduces the chip volume and separates the briquettes from coolants (coolant emulsion, oil) absorbed during previous machining processes.

The plant comprises a feed hopper into which the material to be processed is loaded, and the integrated shredder inside reduces the chip length. A conveying system continuously transfers the shredded chips via a conveyor belt to the chip press hopper. There, two screw conveyors feed the material into the compaction chamber.

The system includes a monitored collecting tank for fluids and a pump. The separated coolant can be returned to the production process.

Cycle control is handled by a PLC and an electronic level sensor to monitor the fill level in the hopper. Optionally, a tilting device for manual loading can be added as required.
