(2x) Climate Chambers for Stability Testing

The system for storage of stability samples consists of 2 climate chambers. Both chambers are supplied via a single electrical control cabinet and each has its own wiring diagrams. The climate chambers are based on Viessmann cold storage cells. Both chambers are identically sized and equipped with stainless steel shelving.

The chambers were previously connected to a data acquisition system, which is currently not included. However, integration with a building management system is possible and pre-configured.

The complete system was decommissioned and fully qualified in 2024. Qualification documents can be provided upon request.

Delivery, installation, and technical service of the system were performed exclusively by ThermoTEC.

The seller is offering the items EXW (Ex Works); i.e., dismantling and loading are the responsibility of the buyer.

The system essentially consists of:

- 2 constant climate chambers made of 80mm PU panels, stainless steel floors, and single-leaf hinged doors with frame heating
- 2 chamber conditioning units, each comprising:
- Recirculation fans
- Direct evaporation heat exchangers with R404A refrigerant for cooling and dehumidification
- Electric resistance heaters, each 2×1.5kW
- Cold steam supply hoses from ultrasonic humidifiers
- 2 air-cooled condensing units for cooling and dehumidification of the climate chambers
- 2 ultrasonic humidifiers, each with a capacity of 1 kg/h
- Electrical control cabinet for operation and regulation of the climate chambers

The recirculated air in the constant climate chambers is drawn in via the conditioning units, treated, and blown out on the front side. The temperature and humidity sensor mounted in the intake area sends real-time values for each control circuit to the respective climate chamber. Independent process controllers for each control circuit (temperature/humidity) are installed on the control cabinet front.

The controllers regulate the following functions according to demand:
> HEATING by electric resistance heater
> COOLING by refrigeration unit and direct evaporation
> HUMIDIFYING by ultrasonic humidifier
> DEHUMIDIFYING by refrigeration unit and direct evaporation

Temperature and humidity control in the chambers is fully automatic.
