Thumm SU100 P Strom-UV Dip Impregnation System with Exhaust Air Purification System

The electric UV impregnation is an innovative dip process for low voltage round wire windings.
In this method, a low DC voltage is applied to the winding, and the required process heat is generated very efficiently by the resulting current flow.
When dipping the preheated winding, the impregnating resin becomes thin and can penetrate into the smallest cavities.
With continued heating, the impregnating resin gels on the hot conductors of the winding, while the excess resin flows off the cooler laminated core after dipping.

The winding is heated and dried via electrical current. UV lamps cure the photosensitive resin on the laminated core.

Eliminating conventional oven drying saves energy and time. In combination with a low-emission impregnating resin, the environmental impact is very favorable.
