Description:

The universal spindle lathe SU 1500 Variant is a numerically controlled machine designed for roughing and finishing shaft and flange parts, thread cutting, drilling, turning tapers, and various rotationally symmetric surfaces. The machine features a horizontal bed in a rigid design; the bed guideways are hardened and ground, while the guide surfaces on the longitudinal slides are coated with Turcite B. The SU 1500 Variant lathe is equipped with automatic cycle control and a Heidenhain CNC system.

The Z-axis (longitudinal feed) is powered by a servo drive directly on the ballscrew. The X-axis (cross feed) is also driven by a servo directly on the ballscrew. Position feedback for both axes is provided via encoders mounted on the servomotors. The machine can be operated manually or in CNC (automatic) mode.

Offered is a CNC Lathe TOS SU 1500 Variant with Heidenhain control, year 1999. This lathe is in excellent original condition and comes from a facility where it was only minimally used in special production. The control is very easy to operate. The guideways are regularly lubricated by the central lubrication system. The TOS SU 1500 Variant has been mechanically and electrically tested with us.
