The V5 height measuring instrument is the successor to the legendary V+ series, of which thousands of units have already been sold to workshops worldwide and which is renowned for its user-friendly operation and high quality.

Over 50 years ago, Trimos was the first company to launch vertical measuring instruments on the market. The V5 models represent a consolidation of expertise accumulated over the years. Their highly legible display and intuitive features ensure outstanding operator convenience. But that’s not all: the V5 is equipped with a revolutionary displacement handwheel, enabling the user to decide whether to move the measuring carriage manually or with motorization. Each of these modes performs uncompromisingly—users preferring manual operation will not notice a difference compared to a classic manual instrument, and the same applies to motorized operation. This innovation eliminates a difficult purchasing decision and allows several potential users to operate the same instrument.

The V5 design, with its lateral probe holders, revives a long-standing Trimos tradition: it enables measurements using long, robust probes, ensuring excellent repeatability.
