In combination with the Scharmüller crossmember and Scharmüller drawbar, the following towing capacities are possible:
• Trailer with continuous braking system: 21,000 kg
• Trailer with overrun brakes: 3,500 kg
• Trailer without brakes: 750 kg
• Central axle trailer: 13,000 kg and support load: 1,000 kg
→ This makes the U5023 a truly multifunctional tractor unit, from car trailers, central axle trailers, to conventional turntable drawbar trailers, at any possible height, always the right coupling!
→ Ideal for operating your crane, as the Unimog itself is short and can therefore tow extra-long trailers.
