The machine was manufactured circa 1980 and was completely overhauled by us in 2009/2010, and has been under our maintenance since then.
Scope of overhaul included, among other things:
- Electrical system almost completely renewed
- New control cabinet incl. Siemens S7-200 PLC
- New Siemens Simodrive 611 drive technology, Siemens 1FK7 feed motors
- Heidenhain TNC 124 positioning control with electronic handwheel
- Heidenhain linear measuring systems for X, Y, and Z axes
- Heidenhain angular encoder on the B axis (rotary table)
- Spindle drive as three-phase asynchronous motor with DC brake electronics
- Renewal/overhaul of all hydraulic components
- New ball screw drives (KGT) in X and Y axes
- Overhaul of drive systems for all feed axes
- All axes have been newly scraped
- Overhaul of lubrication systems for axes and spindle headstock
- Replacement and overhaul of all gearbox components in the spindle headstock
