This is a drill bit sharpening machine for drill bits ranging from 8 to 30 mm in diameter, with an adjustable point angle from 90° to 140°.

Standard equipment includes: a CBN grinding wheel for HSS drill bits (with a life of at least 3,000 drills).

A diamond wheel for carbide drill bits is also available for €90.00.

Sharpening a drill bit is completed in three steps. First, the bit is clamped in a dedicated fixture, then the grinding and pointing take place. All done in less than a minute!

Before clamping, set the drill diameter using the control knob on the machine. Insert the appropriate collet with the drill into the fixture and align it flush in the left holder of the machine, then clamp securely.

Grinding the cutting edges and pointing is straightforward. Start the machine, insert the fixture with the drill into the right holder, gently rotate from stop to stop—first edge finished. Rotate the fixture 180° and grind the second edge.

Pointing is performed in the same way, but using the top holder. That's it. Now just turn off the machine and release the drill bit.

A clever design combines an eccentric with a specially shaped grinding wheel, so you never need to worry about lip geometry or relief angles. The advantage: both cutting edges are produced using exactly the same setting, ensuring precise cutting symmetry. Additionally, you can freely set the point angle between 90° and 140°.

High-precision collets for diameters from 8 to 30 mm ensure perfectly concentric clamping.

The grinding wheel life exceeds 3,000 applications. Besides the standard CBN wheel for HSS tools, we also offer a diamond grinding wheel for carbide drill bits. Changing the wheel takes just seconds and requires only a few simple steps.
