The entire process is automated and designed for continuous operation with minimal operator involvement.

Line composition and equipment

WEINIG GRECON HS 120 Finger Jointing Machine – year of production: 2018
Complete working line including: brush infeed conveyor for wooden parts, two through-feed milling machines, automatic glue applicator, pre-pressing station for finger-jointed elements, and press with a pressing length of 6.5 meters.

Automatic finger jointing machine loading – ABB robotic cell
ABB IRB 6640 four-axis robot for automatic loading of wooden elements with a maximum length of up to 600 mm. The system is equipped with two pallet cells, allowing for continuous, alternating work of the entire line without downtime. Year of robotic cell construction: 2021.

Automatic glue feeding system
Automatic glue extraction for the finger jointing machine from a 1,000-liter IBC tank. Integrated automatic agitator ensuring consistent glue application quality and continuous production process.

Receiving of pressed elements – FAMAD scissor lift table
FAMAD DBNA-40T DUO scissor lift table installed at the press, for collecting the battens after the jointing process. Automatic height adjustment. Working table dimensions: 6.0 m x 1.3 m.

Material transport system
Roller conveyor system with transfer stations, ensuring material flow to the loading robot cell and to the finger jointing machine. This solution enables smooth material logistics and uninterrupted operation of the entire line.

Roller buffer for jointed elements
Roller storage magazine for buffering and storing battens after finger-jointing. Accumulation lanes with a total length of 82 linear meters.
