What does VOC mean / What does the device do?
VOC = Volatile Organic Compounds
The device measures and tests the outgassing (emission) of materials under defined conditions.
It analyzes which substances are released by a material into the air. Typical applications include:
- Emissions testing of plastics, components, materials
- Automotive interior material testing (odor / pollutants)
- Building products & furniture emissions
- Packaging, textiles, adhesives, coatings
- Quality control and standard-compliant testing (e.g., ISO / VDA / DIN)

The test system produces precisely defined temperature, humidity, and air conditions.
Emissions are carried out of the test chamber by carrier gas (e.g., nitrogen or air)
and can subsequently be measured with analytical devices.
