Description:
For sale is a WaterEvent SWT 1000 test chamber from Weiss Technik – ideal for standardized testing of enclosure and component water protection ratings. With optional equipment, testing according to IPX9K (high-pressure/jet water), ISO 20653, and additional standards is possible.
High-pressure/steam jet nozzles for IPX9K
Jet nozzles for IPX5/6, including in accordance with standards:
ISO 20653, DIN EN 60529, SAE J 575, JIS D 0203, MIL-STD 810, EN 60068-2-18, IEC 60598-1.
Possible Protection Classes & Tests
The SWT system can (depending on equipment) cover a wide range of tests:
Basic configuration: IPX3 / IPX4 tests (spraying or all-round splashing water).
Optional: Higher protection classes up to IPX5/IPX6 (jet water), and — with appropriate high-pressure equipment — up to IPX9 or IPX9K.
Tests are based on standards such as DIN EN 60529 (for IP protection classes) and ISO 20653 (e.g. for automotive or outdoor applications) — depending on the intended purpose and area of use.
