"Measurements using X-ray computed tomography for production and metrology labs.
Thanks to the transmission tube – for the first time in a monoblock design – a small focal spot can be achieved even at high tube power. This enables fast measurements with high resolution. The monoblock design, combining tube, generator, and vacuum system, has been realised for the first time in an open configuration. This results in long maintenance intervals as well as a theoretically unlimited service life. Application areas include 3D measurement of connectors, plastic enclosures and covers, 3D-printed parts, packaging, PET bottles and preforms. The TomoScope® XS (utility model) can also be used for tool correction. Measurements on the workpiece can be used to check the functionality and wear of tools. For example, workpieces are inspected for signs of tool breakage and burr formation."
