ZHS – economical all-rounders

The ZHS series features a load-dependent, hydraulically operated pusher, which feeds material horizontally to the rotor in a slightly inclined position. The material is cut between the rotor and stator knives until it falls through the screen mounted and bolted beneath the rotor. The exchangeable screen defines the final particle size. The shredded material can be discharged via a conveyor belt, discharge screw, or pneumatically through an extraction system.

Single-shaft shredders of the ZHS series are designed for light to medium-duty applications in the plastics industry.

Technical details:

• Hydraulically guided pusher on roller bearings with horizontal movement
• Bolted knives and knife holders
• Optional segmented floor for particularly thin parts and materials
• The aggressiveness of the rotor can be altered by bolted filling pieces
• Can be combined in a 2-stage plant with a granulator as a pre-shredder
