The main purpose of this lathe type is the machining of pipes. Accordingly, this machine is widely used in the oil industry.
Pipe thread lathes offer extensive capabilities for machining thread connections on cylindrical and conical internal and external surfaces of large-diameter pipes. Clamping the pipes with two chucks, together with the supplied steady rests, enables machining of pipes with large lengths. Suitable both for the production of components and installations in the oil and transmission industries as well as for maintenance work on such systems.
