The Carel HeaterSteam UR020HL10S is an isothermal steam humidifier. It generates steam by heating elements submerged in a steam cylinder filled with water. Either standard tap water or fully demineralised water can be used. The heat generated by the heating elements raises the water temperature to 100°C.

Steam distribution

For optimal humidifier performance, the produced steam must be distributed evenly throughout the space in order to avoid droplet formation and condensate accumulation. This is achieved either with ventilated steam distributors or steam lances. The choice of steam distributor depends on the area into which the steam will be introduced. For direct room humidification (such as in rooms, factory halls, etc.), ventilated steam distributors (optional) with a motorised fan should be used. For steam distribution in ductwork or HVAC systems, steam lances must be used to utilise the airflow speed for humidification.
