Functionality:
The contaminated air is fed tangentially into the cylindrical upper section, causing the air to circulate. The material is pushed outward under the influence of centrifugal force towards the periphery of the cyclone and discharged through the bottom outlet. The cleaned air exits the cyclone through the centrally positioned outlet pipe at the top.

The separation efficiency increases with the feed velocity, but so do the pressure loss and thus energy consumption. It is therefore important to find a good compromise.

We have developed a series of cyclones optimized for filtering large volumes of material. They are ideally suited for the wood, paper, recycling, grain, and feed industries.

Below, the cyclone can be selected in the correct size based on the air volume and a typical pressure loss in the range of 1000 Pa.
