The pneumatic butt welding device type Sv‑63P features a robust vertical design incorporating vertical clamping jaws and a sliding movable plate. Clamping is achieved via tandem cylinders, while the support plate on the static side is isolated from the base frame, which also carries the movable carriages connected to a horizontal cylinder for compressing the workpiece. The movement of the carriages is limited in both directions—for compression and for opening—and the distance between the clamping jaws can be adjusted according to the cross-section or diameter of the workpiece. Clamping at the set jaw distance is controlled via foot switches. An additional control cabinet with switches and buttons enables individual or simultaneous clamping and supports both manual and automatic welding. After welding, the clamping jaws are lifted and the carriages return to their starting position. The welding parameters are set on a controller mounted on the side of the device. Welding voltage regulation is achieved via thyristors, and the energy transformer is fully encapsulated and water-cooled, connected to the contact jaws by laminated conductors. Inside the device, a power board with a thyristor and a main control board ensure smooth operation. A compressed air preparation unit with a pressure regulator for adjusting the clamping force is located on the device cover. The main switch for activating the device is located on the controller for welding parameter adjustment.
