This hardening system is used for inductive tempering and surface hardening of wave-shaped workpieces approx. 40 mm Ø x approx. 150 mm high, consisting of:

1 hardening unit with HF transistor converter FCM 115 kW, 170–230 kHz
dual inductor, vertical stroke approx. 400 mm, horizontally adjustable, current inductor diameter approx. 60 mm, with quench shower and pneumatic dual tailstock as rotating workpiece counterholder,

1 tempering station with transistor converter FCI-30/50 kW, 10–25 Hz
dual inductor, vertical stroke approx. 400 mm, horizontally adjustable, current inductor diameter approx. 60 mm, with quench shower and pneumatic dual tailstock as rotating workpiece counterholder, combined with:
double after-cooling station/cooling station and
hardness testing station make EDDYLINER PL by IGB with pneumatic workpiece lift, testing is done with multi-frequency

Rotary indexing table with 2x workpiece holders, driven and 8-position switchable to each processing station; workpieces are automatically loaded and unloaded by portal loader make FELSOMAT type FAZ 300; raw and finished parts are stored on stack pallets for further workpiece transport. Electrical check for workpiece presence.

1 control cabinet with SIEMENS CNC control type 840 D mounted on the machine with water-cooled main converter as well as separate converters for hardening and tempering stations, each with amp/volt/kW displays, separate line cabinet and cooling water/quenching medium recooling system type RA 200.350 with intermediate tank.
