General Description:
CNC manual input control with programming via function and numeric keypad. All information entered in dialogue with the screen. Integrated menu navigation and display of all functions in plain text. Operator keypad, display, and electronic handwheel in a separate chip protection hood.

The EPL control offers the following possibilities:
- Programs can be entered and edited directly via operator guidance through the EPL control, without manual pre-programming.
- NC programs according to ISO/EIA standard can be entered via serial RS 232 interface, output or entered manually directly.

Machining Cycles:
- Stock removal cycles for longitudinal, facing, and contour turning, also with allowance. Thread cutting. Undercuts according to DIN 509 forms E and F as well as DIN 76, also with grinding allowance programmable. Axial and radial grooving according to DIN 471 and 472, also with bottom finishing. Radii 90° and chamfers 45°. Automatic tool nose radius compensation for cycles, undercut, groove, radius, chamfer.

Programming:
- Block-oriented, metric/inch, diameter in absolute input, radius in incremental input, full circle programming, subroutine function, omit layers for program sections. Zero point offset. Mode selection via menu.
