The robust machine features a welded steel construction that ensures exceptionally smooth operation. Both machine stands are designed with a recess, allowing longer parts to be ground on the machine. The three-roller belt guidance system provides the operator with a maximally open working area, making it especially suitable for use with hand sanding blocks. The belt drive is powered by a three-phase motor with a dynamically balanced drive roller. Each sanding belt features individually adjustable pneumatic tensioning for optimal tensioning force per belt. The dust collection system is dimensioned to efficiently capture grinding dust and direct it towards the extraction nozzle, when connected to a proper extraction unit. For fatigue-free operation, the sanding unit is mounted in play-free roller guides. The machine table can be easily and quickly adjusted to the required workpiece height via motorized elevation, with maintenance-free elevation guides. For loading, the table can extend far enough so that workpieces do not need to be pushed under the sanding belt. All main function controls are ergonomically positioned at the center of the machine.

The base configuration of the machine includes two initial equipment belts (W x L) 150 x 9000 mm and a contact roller approx. 50° Shore for 150 mm belt width.

Optional accessories:
3-axis table with integrated handling device for rotating and swiveling workpieces.

The handling device is mounted at the center of the table underneath the insertion frame. To use the handling device, the insertion frame is removed from the machine table. The handling device is equipped with four vacuum suction cups for holding workpieces and consists of: a bearing with rotary axis (with a brake disc mounted on the rear). At the front of the rotary axis, a swivel mechanism is attached, which can be locked at 0°, 22.5°, 45°, 67.5°, and 90°. The swivel head features an additional indexing plate for fine adjustment of the workpieces in relation to the sanding belt. Pneumatic foot switches unlock the rotation and swivel axes, while rotation is performed manually. Maximum workpiece weight using the table as a flat table with insertion frame = 80 daN; when using the handling device on the clamping plate = 25 daN or 120 Nm related to the rotary axis center.
