New external cylindrical grinding machine, Make: Kraft, Type: URS 1000, Year of manufacture: 2022

For the construction of this machine, an unused base frame of a hydraulically operated URS 1000 and unused cast components were utilised.

The machine offered, model URS 1000 CNC, has been equipped with 2-axis ball screw spindles, axis drives, and a PLC control system. It features a user-friendly Siemens PLC S7-1200 control.

The complete machine is fitted with an effective partial enclosure.

With the Siemens PLC S7 control, multiple diameters can be programmed and ground with ease. Additionally, the machine is suitable for the following operations: longitudinal grinding, plunge grinding, step-by-step plunge grinding, automatic wheel dressing and compensation of dressing amount.
Up to 30 individual programs can be stored, and 10 single programs (10 diameters) can be linked into one cycle.
The operator can interrupt the cycle at any time to measure the workpiece, enter compensation values, and grind the remainder to final dimension.
