For finish sanding (smoothing, deburring and edge rounding) or intermediate sanding of profiled window bars
- Finish and intermediate sanding machine with eight sanding drum units:
* 2 surface units on top (co-running/counter-running)
* 2 surface units below (co-running/counter-running)
* 4 profile units arranged diagonally: top right, bottom right, top left, bottom left, all counter-running
- Linear guidance of all sanding units via linear ball bearing sets on hardened shafts
- Time-controlled immersion of all counter-rotating sanding units over the incoming workpiece edges to prevent sanding through the primer at the end grain edge areas. The immersion allows for deeper adjustment of the units into profiles.
- Time-controlled raising of the co-rotating units
- Motorised workpiece thickness adjustment via motorised height setting by push-button
- Digital display of workpiece thickness with modern magnetic tape system
- Variable sanding drum speed via frequency inverter for adjusting sanding intensity to different primers by means of frequency converter 200-1000 rpm
- Workpiece width detection at the machine infeed with automatic adjustment of the left sanding units to the current workpiece width
- Profile preselection via selector switch at the infeed side and automatic adjustment of the sanding drum units for the selected profile
- Modern PLC control for easy machine operation
- Extraction connection: 5 x 100 mm diameter
