Includes frequency converter (FU) – this controls the speed of the drag chain conveyor.

The bales are placed on the drag chain conveyor and the cutter drive is activated. The tines on the cutter tear the straw from the bale and throw it into the hopper. Ideally, the bale breaker is paired here with a straw chopper.

Description:
The muetek Bale Breaker has been developed to break up round and square bales of hay and straw. The chopper flanged to the bale breaker shreds straw from all cereal crops, hay, corn, and miscanthus. The muetek MHZ / MHB machine series are characterized by robust construction and a solid build quality.

muetek bale breakers of series MHB are equipped with a chain conveyor on which the bale of straw is placed using a front loader. The support is adjustable depending on the type of bale.

The chain conveyor pushes the bale against the milling rotor; the feed rate is adjustable. The milling rotor is equipped with several teeth which tear open the bale. The straw separated from the bale is discharged.
