Perceptron ScanWorks V5

The ScanWorks V5 offers the largest field of view currently available in a state-of-the-art line scanner.
The portable ScanWork scanning system combines the user-friendliness of portable CMM arms with the advanced scanning technology by Perceptron.
The V5 is capable of capturing 458,400 points per second with a minimum point-to-point resolution of 12 microns.

Wide field of view: 140 mm and 110 mm

Projected distance meter: Projects an accurate trapezoidal representation of the field of view and the optimal scan offset distance – allowing users to familiarise themselves with proper scanning procedures.
Dynamic range: Captures precise data on dark and reflective surfaces, eliminating the need for white powder sprays.
The sensor is impervious to ambient light.
This lightweight scanner (340 g) can quickly capture large, geometrically complex areas with direct integration into your PolyWork setup.

Non-contact laser scanning prevents damage to sensitive surfaces or deflection of thin or soft materials.
Real-time inspection enables rapid identification of defects, which can be corrected quickly. Ideal for creating point clouds for reverse engineering (via PolyWorks Modeler).
