The High Quality Press Brake, or HQPB for short, is the flagship model among Placke press brakes. The entire manufacturing process, from the hydraulic cylinder to the control cabinet, takes place in-house. By utilizing state-of-the-art technology combined with years of experience in forming technology, the HQPB series enables high-precision bending at the top level. Even the standard base configuration is a fully functional press brake. This combination of safety, reliability, and efficiency—paired with user-friendly operation—allows us to meet the highest demands and precision in the bending process.
Machine frame:
- Base machine constructed from steel S 355 N
- Side frames welded with 2 pressure pipes and overhead oil tank
- Above-floor design
- Coated with 2-component structured paint, light grey (RAL 7035) and signal grey (RAL 7004)
Upper beam:
- Press beam stress relieved by annealing
- Immersion depth measurement, read head guided by ball roller guide
- Separate Y1 and Y2 control; electrical tilt monitoring
Hydraulic system:
- Hydraulic proportional control valve system with electronically monitored cylinder synchronization
- Solid steel cylinders with inductively hardened piston rods
- Low-noise internal gear pump
Punch clamping:
- Upper tool holder system WILA, hydraulic clamping system type NSCL-II-HC, fully hardened. Max. load: head-bearing = 250 t/m, shoulder-bearing = 300 t/m
Lower beam:
- Narrow bed including manual clamp bar, dimensions: 95 mm high, 95 mm wide
- Centrally adjustable crowning device, WILA system, CNC-controlled, NSCR-I-MC, with 2 mechanically adjustable wedge bars for deflection compensation
- Single-V die holder (13x20)
- Working height: 1050 mm (with 55 mm tool height)
Front of the machine:
2 aluminum support arms at the front, approx. 600 mm long, including 2 flip stops, measuring tape, and wear-resistant plastic strip. The support arms are adjustable along a ball rail guide and can be height-adjusted via slot from 55 mm to 100 mm for die installation. The ball rail guide is milled into the lower beam.
