Manufacturer description:
Equipped with two automation units – one for loading and one for unloading – the LaserFLEX makes it possible to decouple the material handling for a laser cutting system. After the cutting process, a fork unit lifts the processed metal sheet from the shuttle table. At the same time, a new sheet is transferred from the connected storage system by a vacuum unit. As soon as the sheet is positioned next to the laser machine, the unloader loads the workpiece onto the system. The entire process takes only one minute. With the LaserFLEX, downtime of the integrated laser cutting systems is reduced to virtually zero, making it especially suitable for high-speed laser cutters.
