Use of a photoelectric cell
The use of a photoelectric cell in the workpiece area enables you to measure the length of the workpiece, and consequently gives you the ability to activate the spray guns when the object is within range, and immediately deactivate them upon completion of the coating process. The photoelectric cell is included as standard equipment.
Identification of parts using special tags.
A plate with identification holes is placed over the suspension. On this basis, and in combination with the photoelectric cell, the PLC control system identifies the coated part, switches the spray guns on and off at the correct times, thereby saving both energy and powder.
Vertical detection of workpiece features.
By using light barriers with horizontal sensors, the PLC can analyze the vertical shape of the workpiece. The PLC counts the time when the part is expected to enter the spray zone, so that the guns can be switched on or off selectively.
Use of light barriers with multiple sensors (horizontal and vertical).
This solution allows accurate measurement of workpiece dimensions, enabling even manipulators to be precisely controlled.
Advantages of using light barriers and photoelectric cells
The main advantages of using photoelectric cells or light barriers are savings in both energy and powder. You can eliminate the unnecessary coating of areas where there are no parts present. With the use of light barriers, precise control of the guns is possible. Our lines can be optionally fitted with photoelectric cells or light barriers.
