Exhibition machine Garbsen CNC-CONTROLLED MACHINING CENTER morbidelli m100 - Drilling and Milling Made for You!
This CNC machining center comes fully equipped with a wide range of milling and drilling tools to meet every requirement in woodworking. Highly efficient – with drilling spindles reaching 8,000 rpm and featuring the most durable spindle available on the market, offering over 1,000 maintenance-free hours.
Comprehensive configuration – suction cups can be individually configured with the TV FLEX worktable, allowing the machine to be tailored to specific needs.
Programming is simple and intuitive, thanks to the integrated Cad-Cam MAESTRO CNC software. Easy to operate: the lowered machine frame ensures the worktable is accessible at all times. Control cabinet and vacuum pump are integrated into the machine base. In the PRO SPACE version, no additional protective measures are required.
Support Structure:
The supporting structure consists of an extra robust, monolithic steel base—heavily ribbed and extremely sturdy. The especially wide support surface is designed for maximum stability, ensuring precise results under all operating conditions. Foundations are not required; the base offers a large, solid platform for the moving gantry. The working unit features a balanced, stable, and resilient support, capable of handling heavy loads and ensuring higher quality and more accurate results.
The moving gantry is manufactured as one solid piece, anchored to the base and running on high-grade prismatic guides with recirculating ball shoes. The machining unit is attached here and moves along the Y and Z axes, also guided by prismatic rails with recirculating ball bearings.
Movement of the lower movable unit (X-axis) and the working head along the gantry (Y-axis) is powered via helical rack-and-pinion drive, resulting in increased torque for greater acceleration and higher speeds along the X and Y axes. The specially designed helical gearing ensures reduced wear on mechanical parts and quieter operation.
The vertical Z-axis uses a recirculating ball screw for precise load balancing, coping well with rapid acceleration and deceleration. The main milling unit is directly coupled to the Z-axis carriage, eliminating vibrations for high-precision finishing.
Movement along the X-Y-Z axes is powered by brushless motors with static inverters, offering:
- Reduced machining times through improved acceleration
- Increased positioning accuracy thanks to high-resolution encoders
- No setup required at machine start thanks to absolute encoders
- Elimination of general maintenance tasks, as brushless systems require no brushes
Axis movements and all operational elements are managed by the control system.
