Temperature shock testing evaluates the resistance of components, devices, and other products to rapid changes in ambient temperature. Test specimens are subjected to abrupt temperature transitions in air with alternating upper and lower temperature loads. Through these cyclic stresses and the accelerated aging induced by temperature fluctuations, potential weak points in the specimen can be identified.
