Weinig Univar 10/3 Rebate Milling Machine

For milling the rebates of windows, doors, and similar components with irregular, circumferential profiles. The machine is suitable for wood thicknesses from 68 to 92 mm.

Time required for rebate milling per frame, average size 1.20 x 1.20 m: approx. 2 min.

The available tool positions are selected via a rotary switch at the operator panel.

The machine is equipped with 3 hydraulically controlled right-hand precision lift spindles capable of accommodating 3 tool sets—each spindle offers two lifting strokes of 95 mm. The spindle lift operates in a U-movement, minimizing the size of the opening in the fence for short parts. The spindle stroke is finely adjustable horizontally for both tool positions from the operator side. Central lubrication is provided for the spindle units.

For splinter-free rebate milling of window sashes, frames, or doors, the first spindle can be switched to right or left rotation.

For each of the last 100 mm of a frame end, this spindle, equipped with the corresponding climb-cutting tool, plunges into the passing timber. This prevents the counter-rotating tool of the following spindle from causing tear-out. The first seven transport rollers can be raised with a foot switch, which reduces throughput time. An additional support rail allows for machining large-scale frames.

Continuous, chainless rubber roller feed with extremely short roller spacing. Feed beam height adjustment with electronic readout.

Electrical specification according to VDE standards.

Machine is supplied with operating tools, but without machining tools.
