The slow-running granulators of the GSL series are primarily used in the injection moulding and blow moulding sectors for inline size reduction of sprues and defective parts. Thanks to various hopper and extraction systems, the machines can be flexibly integrated into existing installations.
GSL 300 models are also suitable as central granulators for lower throughput rates.

The slow-running GSL 300 beside-the-press granulators feature a rotor diameter of 300 mm and working widths of 400 mm, 600 mm, and 800 mm. The rotor is driven directly by a gear motor with bevel gear transmission. This ensures efficient, low-maintenance power transmission and allows the processing of demanding materials. The low rotor speed guarantees reduced noise levels and low-dust regrind. The special rotor blades can be resharpened multiple times, with no need for elaborate adjustment. The "Quick Snap" quick-release system ensures excellent accessibility for simple and rapid maintenance.
Material is fed into the granulator through a noise-reducing hopper of sandwich construction. Depending on requirements, machines can be equipped with different hopper variants. The final granulate size is determined by the screen hole diameter, with the screen mounted below the cutting chamber. The high-quality regrind produced can be extracted or discharged into bags or plastic containers. Low and high base frames are available as options.
Applications
The slow-running GSL 300 beside-the-press granulators are suitable for the size reduction of production waste, as well as large-area parts or hollow bodies. Another area of application is use as a central granulator for lower throughput quantities.
Their robust design and the high torque of the GSL 300 series also allow for the size reduction of thick-walled components.
