This is an electric tilting round boiling pan from the premium Swiss manufacturer Electrolux/Therma, model PBON15EKEM (150 litres), built in 2017. This unit is suitable for boiling, steaming, poaching, braising, or simmering of food products. The kettle is equipped with a closed, non-refillable "electro-steam heating system" (no water supply required); heating is achieved by means of an electric steam heater, where electrical energy is converted into steam at a working pressure of 1.5 bar. The heating elements are fitted with dry-run protection. Heating power is divided into 4 levels, with automatic switch-over from rapid heating to simmering via an energy-efficient microprocessor control. The unit features the therma touch control panel for continuous, clear display of target and actual parameters, such as temperature, operating time, and power levels. This is a base-mounted unit without feet (feet can be retrofitted if required). The kettle has been inspected and tested in our in-house specialist workshop and is fully functional.
