Injection Unit

Two short-design cylinders for plastic injection.
Direct screw drive; ceramic heater bands on the cylinders.

Nitrided and hardened screw, diameter Ø 90 mm.

Open nozzle: front radius R = 35 mm, channel diameter Ø 6 mm, mounting thread M55×3.

Increased specific injection pressure: 2,180 bar.

Plasticizing rate: 85 g/s (for polystyrene, screw Ø 90 mm).

Injection unit equipment:
- Cylinder type M3 – bimetallic, increased resistance to corrosion and wear, permissible temperature up to 350°C.
- Screw type S4V – heat-treated, chrome-plated, with armored edges, increased resistance to corrosion and wear.
- Special G11.3 screw geometry, optimized for the process.
- R12 non-return valve (multi-ball, recommended for PC, PMMA, ABS).

Clamping Unit

Hydromechanical two-platen clamping system.
Four short high-pressure cylinders on the nozzle side.
Four tie-bar tensioners on the ejector side.
Two diagonally-mounted fast movement cylinders.
Mould opening stroke dependent on mould height (dynamic adjustment of stroke).
Moving platen guided on machine frame – ensures platen rigidity and parallelism.

Energy-saving proportional hydraulics with accurate flow and pressure adjustment.
Servo valve for controlling injection speed, closing pressure, and pack pressure.
ECODRIVE system – energy-efficient hydraulic drive enabling parallel auxiliary movements with minimal energy consumption.

ENGEL Viper 40 Robot

Integrated Cartesian robot, controlled via CC200/RC200 interface.
Three servo-driven axes: X = 700 mm (extendable to 900 mm), Y = 1,000 mm (tandem up to 1,900 mm), Z = 1,880 mm (extended to 5,720 mm).
Payload up to 17 kg, accuracy ±0.05 mm.
C-axis: rotating gripper 0–90°, pneumatically driven.
B-axis: wrist rotation about the vertical (Y) axis, servo-driven, range +90° / –180°.
