The GIF kitchen ventilation ceiling is a surface-active complete solution from wall to wall, including large-scale supply and exhaust air fields, lighting, and compensation surfaces with a construction height of only 200 mm. Using the ceiling void as a pressure chamber according to VDI 2052 allows configuration as either an "open" or "closed" system, always ensuring the largest possible proportion of air-technically active surfaces. This enables effective capture of frying, cooking, and other vapors across a large area, as well as low-turbulence air supply, guaranteeing a "feel-good climate" without condensation or drafts. The unique modular system provides maximum transparency and hygiene thanks to a fully reversible design.

On the supply air side, the GIF active cassette ceiling is used for low-turbulence, wide-area air supply following the displacement flow principle, making energy-efficient operation standard. Its special shape ensures indirect supply air distribution of even large air volumes at low inlet velocities without induction impulses. Because the active cassettes for supply and exhaust air are identical in construction, they can be exchanged as needed.
