The GIF kitchen ventilation ceiling is an active-area complete solution, wall-to-wall, including large-scale exhaust and supply air areas, integrated lighting, and balancing surfaces, with a system build-up height of only 200 mm. Usage of the ceiling cavity as a plenum chamber according to VDI 2052 allows for realization as both "open" and "closed" systems while maintaining the largest possible proportion of aerodynamically active areas. This ensures large-area capture of frying, cooking, and other vapors as well as large-area, low-turbulence supply air, which guarantees a comfortable climate free of condensation and drafts. The unique modular system offers maximum transparency and hygiene through a fully reversible construction.

The unique modular system offers maximum transparency and hygiene due to its fully reversible design. On the supply air side, the GIF Active Cassette Ceiling enables large-area, low-turbulence supply air delivery based on the displacement ventilation principle. Energy efficiency is therefore a standard feature. The special design ensures indirect supply air guidance of high air volumes at low entry velocities without induction impulses. Since the active cassettes for exhaust and supply air areas are structurally identical, they can also be interchanged as needed.
