Each sanding drum offers stepless speed control via frequency inverters, as well as sensors for belt tracking monitoring. These systems prevent the belts from running off track and automatically stop the machine in case of misalignment, protecting both machine and workpiece. The sanding machine is equipped with a central extraction system and can be connected to industrial extraction systems or vacuum units via Ø100 mm extraction ports. Additionally, each sanding belt features a pneumatic belt cleaning system that continuously removes abrasive dust during operation. Sanding belt changes are quick and simple—by releasing a single tensioning device, the belt can be removed. The machine is compatible with standard sanding belts joined with tape; no special or proprietary abrasives are required.
