Robust and durable steel construction with force-locking connections – no torsion-prone design due to, for instance, a split construction between bending head and mandrel support. Maintenance-free electromechanical drive for the bending axis. The control’s touch display allows for easy and intuitive programming and operation of the unit. After the pipe is loaded, it is fixed in place by the chuck in the carriage, ensuring precise positioning of the pipe and thereby enabling the production of dimensionally accurate geometries. As standard, there is also a geometry check before the bending process: If the bending starts at an incorrect position, the machine will not allow the process to begin. This eliminates operator error. Optional additional features offer greater convenience and increase output and thus the efficiency of the machine.
Data exchange with the optional TBS-3D pipe calculation software (PC version) is carried out via USB stick or via FTP access from the computer to the machine control. USB or LAN (RJ45) connectors are standard. Existing pipe geometries can be quickly and easily converted via STEP format, for example.
