Wash system

The core of the PT series: inside the machine, two S-shaped wash arms operate. Thanks to thorough flow optimization and a special nozzle geometry, they ensure thorough coverage of the wash water for first-class results – with a rinse water consumption starting from just 2.2 litres per cycle. Attention to quality has been given to every detail: robust stainless steel shafts guarantee smooth rotation and contribute to the high reliability of the PT-XL.

Variable washing pressure adjustment

Every Winterhalter PT-XL is equipped as standard with variable water pressure control: VarioPower adjusts the washing pressure precisely to the items being washed and their degree of soiling. Delicate glasses and fragile bowls are washed at lower pressure, while sturdy dishes are washed at higher pressure. Stubborn dirt is reliably removed, and lightweight or sensitive items are gently cleaned and held securely in place.

Wastewater heat recovery

A clear advantage of the PT series: the EnergyLight wastewater heat recovery is standard. The heat exchanger uses the energy from the wastewater to preheat the cold inlet water. The benefits: the machine heats up faster between cycles, conserves resources, and saves up to 10% on energy costs.

Exhaust air heat recovery

With the Winterhalter PT-XL Energy Plus, exhaust air heat recovery is included. In addition to the standard wastewater heat recovery, an exhaust air heat exchanger is used. It utilizes the energy of the warm water vapor inside the machine to preheat the cold inlet water. When the hood is opened, minimal warm moist air escapes into the room. Energy savings per cycle can be up to 15%.
