Wash System
The heart of the PT Series: Inside the machine, two S-shaped wash arms operate. Optimised flow and special nozzle geometry ensure even distribution of water for first-class wash results—with a rinse water consumption from just 2.2 litres per cycle. Emphasis has been placed on quality down to the last detail: heavy-duty stainless steel shafts guarantee optimal rotation and contribute to the high reliability of the PT-XL.

Variable Wash Pressure Adjustment
Every Winterhalter PT-XL comes as standard with variable water pressure control: VarioPower adjusts the washing pressure to suit the washware and the degree of soiling. Delicate glasses and fragile bowls are cleaned with lower pressure; robust dishware with higher water pressure. This ensures strong soiling is reliably removed while light and sensitive washware is treated gently and held securely in place.

Wastewater Heat Recovery
A clear advantage of the PT Series: the EnergyLight wastewater heat recovery system is standard. The heat exchanger uses energy from the wastewater to pre-heat the incoming cold water. Benefits: Faster heat-up between cycles, resource savings, and energy cost reductions of up to 10%.

Exhaust Air Heat Recovery
The Winterhalter PT-XL Energy Plus features exhaust air heat recovery as standard. In addition to standard wastewater heat recovery, an exhaust air heat exchanger is used. It utilizes energy from warm water vapour inside the machine to pre-heat the incoming fresh water. When the machine is opened, hardly any warm, moist vapour is released into the room. Energy costs per cycle are reduced by up to 15%.
